Helena, Montana Big beautiful sky Country. Wellll! not for us, We arrived for a one night stay on a long commute to our next Location. Clouds and Wind rolling in as we set up. By the time we were hunkered down in our Home the Storm unleashed itself with a Furry that we had not seen on our trip yet. Wind whipping the rain sideways and even up at times. First blowing one way then doing a complete 180 for a few minutes. While this is starting Staci gets a Text Severe Weather warning Alert. Poss Hail and Flash Flooding. Right that might have been useful before the Storm hit. Luckily since we were spending just the night we had nothing outside. Not the case for our neighbors whose Lawn chairs and anything else not nailed down started sailing off into the Clouds. Then the Thunder and Lightening arrived, boy did it arrive. The Rig although secure with all Ground Jacks down, started rocking like crazy. So we sat with our Coffee and enjoyed the show being displayed outside our windows. So mesmerized we forgot a photo. Now the storm blows through, and blows is the correct word and we settle in for the night. I wake saying Honey why are you shaking so violently, are you cold? She says it’s not me. Holy Cr….we are having a pretty long and intense Earthquake. All the other Rv lights are coming on and you can hear their thoughts “What the heck is going on now” We are now Laughing and Saying we drove Thousands of miles away from California the Earthquake Capital of the USA, only to get hit with the biggest Earthquake they have had in Montana in Years. Yeaaa we are so lucky. Actually because it was located away from Town minimal damage to Helena and everyone was okay. So Dan Although we only spent one Day and night in Helena, it once again was very memorable, although not in way most people would think.
