The Main Photo says it all for beauty, But we really just got lucky getting this place………..We were all ready to head out from Seattle travelling due East to parts unknown. Well apparently The Northern Cascades Roads were still blocked with Snow come June 15th, June 15th people, we are taking 110 degree weather in Southern California and they still have Snow blocking the roads up here. Rethinking that living in Lynden, WA idea. So of course this being the most busiest time of the year up for Rv’s we were scrambling to find a place. Finally found a Casino and RV park that would take a 40 ft. Rig. That is part of the problem up here, actually quite a few places available for under 30 ft. Just not a 40 ft. Well off we went to Fidalgo island and the Anacortes Area. With no idea of what to expect we were pleasantly surprised to find a great place looking out onto the San Juan islands. More great surprises were to come. These are in this and other to follow Posts.
Since we were very far up north and the Date was June 21st, Summer Solstice, longest day of the year, we had to take a sunset photo at 10pm. For those of you following the story realize Staci is smiling because she wanted to touch it, even though it still touched her soul in a different way to take a photo of it. She said close enough and we walked the 100 ft back to the RV.
