We found this on one of our Staci wants to go for a drive and explore rides and it was amazing.
The Airplane we were holding up in the main photo we actually launched from the Top of the Tower and it flew great and people were clapping and yelling. We then proceeded to tell the people on the ground that it would only fly way out over the trees and come back and land at the Base of the Tower only if it was true Love for the Couple who launched it. They all bought the Story and stampeded over to the gift shop to buy one. Silly people we had true Love before we launched the plane not because of it. Funny now that I think of it Staci bought the story too, Or maybe because she Loves me she said so. Heh, either way I’m a winner.
Another funny thing was we could see where our RV was parked across the river, from the top of the Astoria Tower and we were laughing that this was right here and we didn’t even know it.
Amazing views of the Columbia River from the Astoria Tower. It was worth every bit the climb of steep and quite a few stairs and a very narrow railing at the top. If in Astoria you have to go see it and participate in the Airplane Love Story launching.
